Castle Street in Liverpool city centre is one of the older streets in Liverpool . As it's name suggests it once led to the castle of Liverpool , who's site is the Queen Victoria statue ,at the other end of the street is Liverpool Town Hall in Dale Street . This important location has given rise to many buildings connected to banking and insurance . A walk down Castle Street today will take you past many café and shop fronts all similar in appearance until you look up .
